JOJOBA OIL (Simmondsia chinensis seed oil)

Jojoba is a plant native to Arizona and California, already known to the Aztecs who used it in food and in the treatment of skin conditions and wounds. Its oil, or rather the liquid wax obtained from the fruits, has notable nourishing, protective, emollient and softening properties. It helps prevent skin aging and the appearance of wrinkles.

It has a remarkable affinity with keratin, the main constituent of hair, hair and nails, therefore it has a strengthening and nourishing effect on eyelashes and eyebrows. It acts as a moisturizing agent, applied on eyelashes and eyebrows it forms a barrier that reduces the evaporation of water, therefore it maintains their hydration.

Avocado oil

The avocado plant is native to the tropical regions of Central America, well known to the Aztec civilization, it was brought to Europe in 1519 by the Spanish conqueror and cosmographer Martin Fernandez de Inciso. It was originally used both as a food and as a cosmetic: the Aztecs spread avocado pulp on their faces and hands to soften them, and also made hair compresses. The avocado is a large evergreen tree with elliptical leaves, which produces pear-shaped fruits with a greenish skin, a light and buttery pulp and a large stone. Avocado oil is one of the few oils that are obtained from the pulp of the fruit rather than the seeds of the plant. Avocado oil contains a high fraction of palmitoleic acid, rich in nourishing and moisturizing properties.

In cosmetics it has the following properties: skin restorative due to its high content of triglycerides, proteins and vitamins, hydrating, protective and nourishing.

Magnolia officinalis is used in traditional Chinese medicine for its neuroprotective and relaxing properties.
