More information on the ingredients

Centella asiatica extract

  • Smoothing Agent: Reduces roughness or irregularities to make the skin more even.
  • Soothing Agent: Helps relieve skin discomfort
  • Toning: Produces a sensation of well-being on the skin

This aromatic perennial herbaceous plant belongs to the Lamiaceae family and grows mainly in Asia, Europe and South America. It has a powerful antiseptic, stimulating and anti-microbial effect.

Aesculus hippocastanum bark extract

Horse chestnut bark extract stimulates peripheral circulation and acts on cellulite. It has an anti-inflammatory and draining action, relieves swelling, heaviness, and itching.

It is useful in cases of trauma resulting from sports activity, tears, strains, bruises and varicose veins, it intervenes on local electrolyte exchange, promoting the removal of accumulated interstitial fluids, thus carrying out an anti-edema action.

Mentha

It is obtained from mint or peppermint oils. It has been known since ancient times and has been used for numerous therapeutic purposes. It is known for its toning and refreshing effects on the skin. It has an anti-inflammatory, anti-itching, antiseptic, analgesic action and above all in refreshing formulations. However, despite its widespread use, its mechanisms of action have only recently been studied, in particular the cold effect. A skin reaction linked to the TRPM8 receptor, which represents the target of action of menthol.

Glycerin

Glycerin is used for its high hydrating and protective power as it protects the skin from external aggressions and is an effective emollient for the skin.

It has been demonstrated (2005 Andersen) that it also has anti-inflammatory power.
